Kitestring Technical Services and GK Software Announce Strategic Partnership to Enhance Pre-Discovery and Implementation Excellence to Retailers

Sep 16, 2026

Kitestring Technical Services, a full-service technology firm headquartered in Bentonville, Arkansas, and GK Software, a global leader in retail technology, delivering innovative cloud solutions for checkout, store operations, and consumer experience together announced a formal strategic partnership. This partnership formalizes a long-standing working relationship built on years of collaboration.

Kitestring and GK Software have worked alongside each other for many years, with Kitestring’s team earning certified expertise in GK’s platform, a foundation built in part through the companies’ work together supporting major retail deployments, including one of the US’s largest department store retailers. That deep technical knowledge has positioned Kitestring as a trusted implementation and integration partner, acting as an extension of GK Software’s own professional services organization to help deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes for retailers undertaking complex transformation programs. A defining element of the partnership is Kitestring’s role in GK’s pre-discovery process. Kitestring works with prospective GK clients ahead of formal discovery engagements, helping align business objectives, clarify operational workflows, and establish a well-defined implementation foundation early in the process. This collaborative approach strengthens project readiness and supports more predictable delivery. It also helps retailers to fully leverage the flexibility of GK’s platform, optimize timelines, and maximize long-term results. The approach reinforces the value that GK Software delivers to its clients.

GK Software maintains an active presence in the Kitestring Innovation Lab at Kitestring’s Bentonville headquarters, where GK OmniPOS is installed and available for live demonstrations. Together, Kitestring and GK have developed and showcased several demonstration environments highlighting the flexibility and scalability of modern retail technology.

At the NACS Show 2025, the companies presented a live integration scenario that connected GK OmniPOS with leading ordering, payment, and digital commerce capabilities. The demonstration provided fuel and convenience retailers with a practical view of how GK’s platform seamlessly integrates into complex, multi-vendor ecosystems and supports end-to-end retail processes.

Building on this momentum, Kitestring and GK later showcased GK OmniPOS together with GK Vision, GK’s AI-powered computer vision solution for fraud prevention at self-checkout. The demonstration illustrated how advanced retail applications can be deployed and operated on modern edge infrastructure, enabling greater flexibility, efficiency, and performance beyond traditional retail hardware models.

Looking forward, Kitestring and GK Software will both be present at the NACS Show 2026, October 6-9 in Las Vegas. Attendees can find Kitestring at Booth C5975, where the two companies will again be demoing GK OmniPOS together. This year’s demonstration will highlight GK’s platform agnosticism by running it across multiple hardware form factors powered by a state-of-the-art edge device, alongside an integration with emerging retail technology. It is another example of how Kitestring and GK continue to push the boundaries of what modern retail infrastructure can look like in practice.

Kitestring and GK jointly designed, built, and validated each of these demonstration environments before presenting them at industry events. Today, all showcased solutions remain available for live demonstrations in the Kitestring Innovation Lab, providing customers and partners with hands-on insight into real-world retail deployment scenarios.

“We stay vendor-agnostic when helping clients select a POS software provider, but the deeper our partnerships run, the more effectively we can guide them through the risks,” said Eugene Park, Chief Delivery Officer at Kitestring. “Those same close working relationships are what allow us to accelerate and de-risk implementations.”

“At GK, we continuously invest in a flexible, open, MACH-based platform to provide retailers across all segments with future-ready capabilities. Delivering successful transformations increasingly depends on building a strong ecosystem of partners across technology, services, and infrastructure. Kitestring brings deep expertise in guiding retailers through complex decision-making processes, helping them identify the right solutions and partnerships for their specific needs. Together, we enable our joint customers to move faster, reduce risk, and unlock the full value of modern retail platforms,” said Bill Miller, General Manager and President of GK Software USA.
