Spotlight: Samantha Whitmore

Q: Tell us about yourself!
A: I am from Evansville, IN. I married my high school sweetheart and we have 3 boys; 15, 13, and 4. I’m a Project Manager and have been with Kitestring since September of 2023.

Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
A: While my boys keep me very busy, I do enjoy home renovations and baking bread outside of work.

Q: What led you to this career? Were you influenced by anyone or anything?
A: While in nursing school, I was working in an Emergency Department. During my time in the Emergency Department, I was included as a SME on a project team to transition from paper charting to Electronic Medical Records. I was intrigued by the Project Manager role and researched the path I needed to take to become one.

Q: What keeps you motivated?
A: My children.

Q: When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A: A trauma nurse like my parents.

Q: What’s the best piece of professional advice you’ve ever received?
A: Challenge yourself everyday.

Q: What, if anything, are you currently binge-watching? Or reading?
A: I just finished watching Fool Me Once on Netflix. If you are looking for a show that keeps you on your toes, you should watch it!
