Q: Tell us about yourself!
A: I grew up in Canyon Lake, California. It’s a man-made lake used for boating and waterspouts. I attended a charter high school where I had the opportunity to join their engineering stem program. I then attended Santa Cruz University, graduating in Computer software engineering with a Bachelor of Science degree. My family is very close and supportive of each other. I come from a family of creative people; my Dad is a property master in the TV and Movie industry, my mother is a designer, and my little sister is a web designer.

Q: What led you to this career? Were you influenced by anyone or anything?
A: My high school offered a stem pathway program for engineering. My capstone project was designing an APP for the students, teachers, and faculty in my school. Working on the project inspired me to choose Software Engineering instead of Electronic Engineering as my major in college.

Q: What are you most proud of accomplishing since joining Kitestring?
A: I’m most proud of working with my team to successfully build out the multi/patent single immunization feature for the associate scheduler. The development lasted a couple of months, which resulted in an entire revamp of the website.

Q: What keeps you motivated?
A:
Learning new technologies

Q: Where is your favorite destination to travel to, and why?
A:
I would have to choose San Diego because of the year-round beautiful weather, beaches, and diverse culture.

Q: What’s the best piece of professional advice you’ve ever received?
A:
“Failure is a waste if you don’t learn from it.”

Q: What, if anything, are you currently binge-watching? Or reading?
A:
The Beatles Anthology

Q: Can you describe our company culture in just one word?
A:
