Tell us about yourself! How long have you worked at Kitestring? What is your position? I have been working as a senior Web Developer in Kitestring for the last 8 months. I have a total of 10+ years of experience in multiple mobile and web technologies.

Tell us how you started down your career path. Were you influenced by anyone? After my bachelor’s in information technologies, Wipro Technologies recruited me from the campus. I have always been enthusiastic about new cutting-edge technologies and when I graduated there was a tremendous evolution in mobile technologies and smart phones were at their dawn. I started learning mobile application development myself and that landed me the opportunity to work on the very first Smartphone OS – Nokia’s Symbian60.

What are some of your favorite things about living in Northwest Arkansas? I have recently moved to Bentonville, Arkansas from California, and am already in love with this place. Being a nature lover and wildlife enthusiast, Arkansas is one of the perfect places for me to call it home. I thoroughly love the abundance of nature and the perfect blend of country and urban life that this city offers.

Tell us about some of your proudest achievements while working at Kitestring.

I have joined Kitestring recently. Like any other projects I’ve done so far, I tried to give my best and contribute to the team here as well. My first project here in Kitestring is Walmart’s CostL POS. The technologies and architectures used offer a new learning curve for me. However, overcoming the tight schedule, I have been able to contribute significantly to the project and deliver it on schedule. This resulted in recognition from the client. I feel myself proud for being able to become one of the top contributors to the project in a very short time.

What are some future goals that you have? I am currently expanding my knowledge base from front end developer to become a full-stack developer by spending my time learning backend technologies and architectures. Also, I am trying to expand my horizon by working on latest technologies like machine learning and Artificial Intelligence. In future, I’d like to see myself as a Software Architect.

What keeps you motivated? I genuinely enjoy working on complex modules and solving programming problems gives me a sense of achievement and satisfaction. I also feel myself to be part of the broader system where my contribution impacts lives. Being part of this organization where quality is much more important than the quantity, transparency and empowerment are its key values, makes me feel immensely satisfied and self-confident and helps me stay motivated

If you could meet anyone (fictional, dead, or alive), who would it be?
Stephen Hawking

What are three things you are grateful for?

  1. My Family
  2. Opportunity to get a decent education
  3. Financial and physical health

If you could talk to your younger self, what would you say? I’d suggest enjoying the little moments and be thankful to even the difficult times as they are the best teachers.
